Wonder Tales: The Imprint of Child’s Play

Documented childhood drawings serve as both visual records and memories. A selected number of images are unfixed and, like memories, will fade over the course of time, evoking a sense of change and impermanence. Fixed images suggest recognition and remembrance. The salt print installation symbolically reminds us we cannot keep every moment as a memory, some memories linger and resonate while others recede leaving only vestiges of the past.
